Things are steady, changing, and still going. Figuring out which direction to go in 2020 was hard. With entire sections of the economy opening and closing, doing a major shift to wholesale didn’t seem like a good idea, especially with our product offering being diverse. The original pivot of home delivery was going well but is almost at capacity in terms of labour and time. The AWE program helped to define a direction more fully in the wake of all this. Being able to step back, and take stock of strengths, interests, and capacity was instrumental in the steps we are taking now – opening a small on-farm store! This small store is a way for us to learn and anticipate what challenges may be faced with a larger building.

Our business is still operating, even after the pandemic. The upheaval over the last year has been a challenge, but we’ve gotten through it so far.
